I am an IT administrator in a small corporate setting. After trying for a couple of days to find a solution to a nag in Google Chrome on one of our clients running Windows 7 I finally found a solution!
(As for why we don’t upgrade this client, it’s complicated)
This fix applies it to the current user. However, in a domain setting you will want to apply it system wide. To do this, you will have to change one thing: Instead of HKCU, set it to HKLM.
This will fix it system wide! I verified this by having the user in question sign in on the scanner again.
